It is my belief that transformation and healing ultimately rest within us all. Therapy is a journey toward reclaiming wholeness and joy that are inherent to our being human.

Whether you are struggling to adjust to life stresses and losses or seeking personal transformation and growth, I am committed to helping you move forward, improve your capacity to grow and accept change, and consider a bigger, more hopeful vision of your life story.  What parts are you moved to explore?  What is calling for change in you?

My holistic and client-centered framework integrates aspects of humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, relational and somatic psychotherapy.

"Ultimately, we have just one moral duty: to reclaim large areas of peace in ourselves, more and more peace, and to reflect it toward others. And the more peace there is in us, the more peace there will be in our troubled world."
--Etty Hillesum
What is the foundation from which you move and integrate your life experiences?  We each have a history that is eager to make itself known.  How you understand and share your history shapes the way you live and determines your relationship with yourself and others.

I do not presume to have the answers or know what is right for you. My job is to help you understand yourself as deeply as possible, so that we can work together to help you live and embrace your relationship with yourself and others in a way that is healthy, vibrant and meaningful for you.

I recognize that therapy can be daunting. The process of identifying and changing patterns of thought and behavior can sometimes bring up uncomfortable feelings. Growth and change may be easy and swift at times, but can also be slow and frustrating. This is a normal part of the therapeutic process. It takes courage, self-trust and commitment to develop a more integrated relationship with the past.

I would welcome an opportunity to accompany you on your journey of self-discovery and growth.
