IFS Consultation

for Professionals

Approved IFS Clinical Consultant

These consultation hours count toward IFS certification with the IFS Institute.

I offer one-on-one IFS-informed case consultations for therapists who have completed Level 1 training or its equivalent.  I also welcome therapists who have not yet started or completed Level 1 training but are seeking support with IFS-informed case conceptualization. Consultations can be done by in person, via zoom, or by phone.

If you are interested in group consultation, I invite you to contact me to join my interest list for future groups. Group consultations are limited to 6 members.

Purpose of Consultation

The primary goals of IFS consultation are to:

    1. Support therapists in skill-building within the IFS model as it relates to their professional scope of practice
    2. Evaluate readiness for IFS certification

What to Expect
Whether you’re new to the model or seeking to finesse your understanding and application, I offer a collaborative space to deepen your fluency with the framework while attending to your internal system. Often, it’s our own parts—those that over-effort, seek to “get it right,” or feel stuck—that can quietly shape the therapeutic relationship. Consultation offers a space to slow down and explore these dynamics with curiosity and compassion. Together, we’ll support your capacity to hold emotional depth in session, work through stuck points in the alliance, and access more ease and spaciousness as you sit with clients. My intention is to help you expand your skillfulness with the IFS model while staying connected to what feels sustainable, creative, and alive in your work.

These consultations are designed to foster a deeper understanding and practical application of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model. At the same time, they honor and draw upon your unique expertise and clinical skill set. Together, we will:

    • Explore the nuanced steps of the IFS model
    • Identify and connect with “therapist parts” that may emerge in your clinical practice

This process provides a pathway for greater insight and embodied integration of the IFS model, empowering you to approach your IFS-informed work with enhanced clarity, confidence, and creativity.
